The Foundation
The cobbled square at the center of Brassheart, where the Brass Heart stands atop a stone plinth as the town's living monument.
The Foundation is the beating civic center of Brassheart — a wide cobblestone plaza ringed by gaslamps and the crooked eaves of the founding shops.
At its center stands the Brass Heart, mounted on a plinth of unadorned quarry-stone. The plinth carries no dedication. The Founders were clear: the object needs no words.
Every festival, every oath, every returning traveler passes through The Foundation. It is where Brassheart remembers itself.
