Origin Story
A cracked brass-colored heart, found abandoned in a parking lot, cleaned and repaired by the Founder and worn daily on his hat. The name Brassheart, and the Foundation's philosophy, follow from that single decision to keep it.
Symbolism
The Brass Heart stands for the act of seeing worth in what has been discarded. It is not a monument to what is grand, but to what is small and easily missed. In every Brassheart story, the symbol appears where a character chooses to restore rather than replace, to keep rather than pass by.
