Practical, independent, good-humored, and comfortable doing real work with her hands, Laura brings growing things, food, hospitality, and a grounded sense of everyday life into Brassheart.

Where some people build with timber, gears, or stone, Laura builds with seasons.

Maple sap, honey, gardens, trees, market tables, conversation, and the simple act of sharing what the land produces all become part of her contribution to the town.

Meet Laura

Laura is the proprietor of Falecki Farms and one of Brassheart’s working citizens.

She is at home around trees, gardens, animals, bottles, buckets, market tables, and anything that requires patience before it becomes useful.

Her work follows the rhythm of the seasons.

Maple trees are tapped when the time is right.

Honey is gathered when the bees have done their part.

Gardens are tended before there is anything to harvest.

And good things are rarely rushed simply because somebody would prefer them sooner.

That practical relationship with time makes Laura an important counterbalance within Brassheart.

The Workshop may be full of sparks, gears, half-finished inventions, and somebody insisting that a questionable machine is “almost ready.”

Falecki Farms works differently.

Things grow when they grow.

Sap runs when conditions are right.

Bees cannot be argued into hurrying.

Laura understands that some kinds of progress come from effort, while others come from knowing when to wait.

She brings that lesson with her.

Laura is capable without needing to advertise the fact. She is willing to work, willing to speak her mind, and generally able to recognize nonsense before the person responsible for it has finished explaining why it seemed like a good idea.

This makes her particularly useful around Rock.

And probably around Willy.

Her humor tends to be quick rather than loud. She can be welcoming without becoming overly sentimental and generous without making a performance out of generosity.

At a market stand, she is as comfortable talking with a neighbor as she is measuring syrup, arranging produce, checking a hive, or telling somebody exactly what she thinks of their latest plan.

Falecki Farms gives Laura a natural place in the economic and social life of Brassheart.

The farm produces maple syrup, honey, seasonal goods, and other products that can move through Town Square, Goose’s Bakery, community tables, and future Brassheart ventures.

Her interests also extend toward hospitality. Laura has expressed a desire to someday take on a barmaid or tavern role within Brassheart, giving that part of her character room to develop organically as the town grows.

For now, that remains an aspiration rather than a fixed occupation.

That distinction matters.

Brassheart should allow its citizens to become things rather than forcing them into roles before their stories arrive.

Laura believes worthwhile work requires attention.

You cannot force a tree to give sap before the season.

You cannot hurry bees.

You cannot plant something in the morning and complain that it has not become a garden by supper.
